White-Label IoT Platform
White-Label IoT Monitoring Under Your Own Brand
A white-label IoT platform lets you deliver monitoring to your customers under your own name. In ioX-Pulse you set the app name, logos, favicon, home-screen icon and brand colors, point your own domain at the workspace, and your customers sign in to your product.
The alternative is building a portal yourself, which means a front end, an account system, dashboards, alerting and a team to keep all of it running while your actual product waits. White-labeling gives you the same customer experience without the engineering program behind it, and you keep the parts that are genuinely yours: the hardware, the deployment, the relationship.
- Your logo and colors throughout, tone-mapped automatically so dark mode does not need a second set
- Your own subdomain with its own TLS certificate, so the address bar and the padlock both say your company
- Invitations, password resets and alerts sent from your address, through your mail provider
- A mark of your choosing on dashboards your customers share publicly, reaching people who never sign in
- Network server connection details can be hidden entirely, so the plumbing under your service stays yours
- Every customer account inherits the same branding, so nothing drifts as you add customers
Every mark your customer sees
What You Can Put Your Name On
Branding is a settings page, not a professional services engagement. Here is exactly what you can put your own name and marks on.
| Asset | What it is |
|---|---|
| App name | Replaces the product name throughout the interface. |
| Menu logo | Your mark in the sidebar, on every page your customer visits. |
| Login logo | Sits above the sign-in form. Leave it empty and the menu logo is used here too. |
| Favicon | The icon in the browser tab. |
| App icon | Shown when somebody saves your portal to their phone home screen. Without one, phones show a plain letter tile. |
| Login background | An optional full-bleed image behind the sign-in page. |
| Login headline and subtext | Your own words on the sign-in screen when no background image is set. |
| Brand colors | Primary, accent, and optionally the left menu background. The interface adapts them for dark mode automatically, so you do not supply a second palette. |
Uploads and removals take effect immediately rather than waiting for a save, so you can see a logo in place before you commit to the rest of the page.

Your address bar, your certificate
Serve It From Your Own Domain
Branding stops working the moment somebody looks at the address bar. Point a subdomain of your own at the workspace and that stops being a problem: your customers reach your portal at your hostname, with a certificate issued for your company.
Name it
Enter a subdomain you control, such as iot.yourco.com. The card then shows you the two DNS records to add.
Point it
Add the records at your DNS provider. Either one proves ownership, and adding both makes activation finish fastest.
Activate
A TLS certificate is issued for your hostname. You do not have to wait on the page — your admins are emailed when it goes live.
5–30 MINUTESTotal time is about half an hour, and most of that is waiting for the certificate rather than doing anything. Changing or removing the hostname later is a button, not a support ticket.

White-label is not on every plan, so this one starts with a conversation rather than a checkout. Tell us how many customers you expect to run and we will tell you what it costs.

Send From Your Own Address
Most of what your customers receive from the platform is email they did not ask for and cannot ignore. If those arrive from a name they do not recognize, your branding has a hole in it exactly where trust matters most.
Connect your own mail provider and every one of those messages goes out from your address, with your sender name, through your infrastructure.
Test it before a customer sees it
Verify the connection and send yourself a live test before any of it reaches a customer — and the test tells you which sender and which reply address were used.
Set the support address even if you keep the platform sender
Separately, a support address of your choosing becomes the Need help? line in the footer of every message, and the address replies go to — so a customer replying to an alert reaches your team rather than a no-reply mailbox.
Down to every account
Your Brand Everywhere Your Customers Look
Branding is set once at the workspace level and reaches everything below it. That is deliberate: a consistent identity across every customer account is what makes them feel like parts of one product rather than a collection of logins.
No per-account override to drift out of step — and nothing to redo when you add a customer.
Every customer account
Inherits your branding automatically. There is no per-account override to drift out of step, and nothing to redo when you add a customer.
Publicly shared dashboards
Dashboards your customers share by public link carry a mark of your choosing in the corner, and it can point at your own site. That reaches people who never sign in at all.
The machinery underneath
Network server connection details can be switched off across the workspace, so a customer looking at a gateway sees your service rather than the machinery underneath it.
WHITE-LABELS THE SERVICE, NOT JUST THE UI
What stays the same
What White-Labeling Does Not Change
Everything your customers see can carry your name. A few things underneath deliberately do not, and it is better to know which before you build a business on it.
The API
The interface your developers integrate against is the platform API, documented as such. Your customers do not see it unless you give it to them.
The documentation
Product documentation is written for the platform and is not rebranded per partner.
Most partners write their own short guide for customers and keep this for their own team. The network underneath
LoRaWAN devices still connect through the network server. What changes is whether your customers ever see it, which is the connection-instructions setting.
One hostname per workspace
You get your own domain. Giving each of your customers their own separate domain is not supported today.
None of these are surprises we would rather you found later. Everything your customer touches carries your name — these four sit behind that line.
Five ways people use this
Who Runs ioX-Pulse Under Their Own Name
The pattern is always the same: somebody who already owns the customer relationship and does not want a third party's name in the middle of it.
Device makers
Ship hardware with a portal that carries your name, so the product a customer buys is yours end to end rather than yours plus somebody else's software.
Distributors
Add monitoring to what you already sell without becoming a software company, and without handing your customer list to a platform vendor.
System integrators
Deliver a finished system under your own name instead of assembling one from visibly separate parts.
Service companies
Monitoring becomes a line on your own invoice rather than a subscription your customer buys elsewhere and you happen to configure.
Operators with sub-brands
Run several brands from one workspace, where the customers are separate but the operations team is not.
The honest version
Building Your Own Portal Against White-Labeling One
Most companies that end up here started by scoping a portal of their own. Here is the same job, done both ways.
| The job | Building it yourself | White-labeling ioX-Pulse |
|---|---|---|
| Getting to a first branded login | A front end, an account system and a release process | Upload a logo, set two colors, save |
| Your own domain and certificate | Infrastructure work, then certificate renewal forever | Two DNS records and a wait |
| Dashboards and alerting | The part that always takes longer than planned | Already there, and already yours to brand |
| Adding a customer | A deployment, or a tenancy model you have to design first | A sub-account and a tier |
| Email from your domain | A mail provider integration and deliverability work | A settings tab and a test send |
| Keeping it running | A team, indefinitely | Someone else's team, indefinitely |
| What you actually differentiate on | The portal, briefly, until somebody copies it | Your hardware, your deployment, your service |
Common Questions About White-Label IoT
If your question is not here, email sales@iox-connect.com and you will get a straight answer
It is an IoT platform you deliver to your customers under your own name rather than the vendor's. In ioX-Pulse that covers the app name, logos, favicon, home-screen icon and brand colors, your own domain with its own TLS certificate, and transactional email sent from your address, so your customers sign in to your product.
Not in the places they spend their time. With a custom domain the hostname and the certificate are yours, and the interface carries your name and colors. The product documentation is not rebranded, and the API is the platform API, so anyone you hand those to will see the platform name.
No, it has to be a subdomain such as iot.yourco.com or portal.yourco.com. That is a certificate limitation rather than a product one: managed certificates cannot be issued for a bare domain through this kind of DNS validation. You can use www if you prefer.
Not today. You get one hostname for your workspace, and every customer account sits under it with your branding. Per-customer domains are on the roadmap; tell us if it matters to your model.
From you, once you connect your own mail provider. Invitations, password resets and workflow alerts then go out from your address and sender name. You can send yourself a live test first, and the test states which sender was used.
No. It is a plan-level capability rather than something every subscription includes, which is why this page leads to a conversation rather than a checkout. Ask us what your deployment would need.
Branding is minutes. The domain is about half an hour, most of it waiting for a certificate to issue. There is no professional services engagement in either.
