LoRaWAN Thermocouple Sensor

The ioX-Connect LoRaWAN Thermocouple Sensor is an industrial-grade temperature monitoring solution designed for high-temperature and process-driven environments where traditional digital temperature sensors are not sufficient.

Available in two flexible models, the sensor supports either a pre-connected K-Type thermocouple or a universal thermocouple input—allowing teams to accurately monitor extreme temperatures across manufacturing, energy, HVAC, and industrial process systems. Temperature data is transmitted securely over LoRaWAN and visualized in real time within the ioX-Connect platform.

Why Use a LoRaWAN Thermocouple Sensor?

Many industrial and process environments operate at temperatures well beyond the limits of standard digital sensors.

Thermocouples are the industry standard for monitoring these conditions due to their durability, accuracy, and ability to measure extreme heat.

The ioX-Connect LoRaWAN Thermocouple Sensor is optimized for:

  • High-temperature and process monitoring
  • Flexible thermocouple integration
  • Reliable wireless data transmission
  • Alarm-driven condition monitoring
  • Long-term, battery-powered deployments

This makes it ideal for industrial temperature measurement where precision, reliability, and durability are critical.

How It Works
  1. Temperature is measured using a thermocouple probe (integrated or third-party)
  2. The sensor converts thermocouple signals into digital temperature readings
  3. Data is transmitted wirelessly over LoRaWAN to an ioX-Connect gateway
  4. Readings, trends, and alarms are displayed in the ioX-Connect platform

Onboard data logging ensures temperature readings are preserved even during temporary connectivity interruptions.
